I ate 12 jalapeños

Try "upgrading" to habaneros next time! LOL

BTW, I discovered a good fire extinguisher after eating those little peckers! It ain't water, it's milk! Go figure, the irritants are made of protein, since milk is also protein, both will disolve well and washed down.

At the other end? Preparation H Dude! LOL

Water makes the burning worse. Milk does wonders and one gets calcium at the same time!

PowerON, I love spicy foods...I have a haberno salsa just for myself and I put it on several of my meals.

I love spicy foods. I do add peppers to my meals. But to sit and eat 12 of them back to back?

Not for me!

Who were you competing with? PowerON?

Sounds like it was a contest, or something.

Oh you brave, brave lady. :eek3: I took one bite of a raw Haberno pepper. That was all it took. My lips, mouth, throat was on FIRE! Nose and eyes were both running for hours!! Tell you what! It is a hell of a way to clear your sinuses, and rectum!!

I even use gloves when I chop up hot peppers to prepare for my meals.

HAHA!...Never forget this guy who chopped up a lot of those hot peppers....and later on went to the bathroom to take a "leak" and few minutes later, he was in pain!...His dick was burning off!...The juice from the hot peppers....and he didn't wash his hands after cutting them up.

Spicy foods are now taboo for me...even hot peppers since I have ulcers and gerd.

Wow!!

That is good for you! They kill all parasites in your body that would make your life longer. It's hard, but you need to be more careful with your stomach otherwise, it might have some holes in it.

After years of soaking my food with this salsa, I guess my taste buds are used to it. This is what I must have on at least one meal a daily basis.

I tried Homicide chicken wings at Wings to Go...the spiciness must have been on a different level cuz my mouth was on fire! Then, I got addicted to eating them and ordered them every Friday. Now, I dont anymore...due to the cost of them and the high fat. Once in a while I will order them. I love them with a cold beer!

One time my friend accidently grabbed one of my wings and ate them and she ended up crying all night. She kept grabbing water and I kept giving her milk in which she refused cuz she thought water would allievate the fire. It was funny,.

I love hot sauce and adding peppers to my foods.

But to sit and eat raw hot peppers. That is a whole different story!

Since you like hot peppers.

try this.

I do not have an exact amount.

But I do dice up about three Jalapenos (you can use habaneros too)

about 6 to 8 tomatoes.

Green onions or regular onion. to taste.

Fresh Cilantros

and a splash of vinegar.

Makes an excellent Salsa! Like I said I do not have an exact measurement but I do make this often for parties.

and it is good to add to just about any meal!!

I also chop up jalapenos to add to my sour cream and ranch dip. Mix. Yummy! It goes real good with Fajitas.

Bingo! And if you are cleaning the fresh ones and accidentally get the irritants on your skin, wash with milk.

Wish I known that last summer. Before I learned, to use gloves before making the salsa.

I ended up staying in the pool all day, with my hands submerged in the water!!

LOL! I had my share of burns, too. I was stringing some Tabasco peppers to hang and dry a few years ago, and when I reached to get more peppers, I stuck the needle in my mouth to free my hands. Burnt both my upper and lower lip all to heck!:giggle:

I did learn the seeds, are the hottest part of the peppers.

With that sauce I eat on a daily basis, I have to use precaution whenever handling it. One time, there was a spot of it on my finger and I rubbed my eye. Use yor imagination to what happened next! Ouch!!!
