I like to let you know that I am good friend of an young actress from "Gerald" and "Black Sand" for a long time like we met in rival schools. I am sure that she is a great actress and strong character for her own role in the movies. In real-life, this person is really good-hearted and sweet but often quiet person around the campus and most social with hearing people like me before. Also, we enrolled at Gallaudet since 2006 but she was once left for home for two years but I will graduate this May. Otherwise, I already know all about actors/actresses and movies because I lived in Los Angeles before and had been audition for tv shows or movies. The one thing is not easy to find a deaf actor for part of action or martial arts movie which I had strong talent like Slyvester Stallone and Jet Li.
I was just watched movie, "Gerald" at Elstad Auditorium in Gallaudet University last night for World Deaf Cinema.
In my opinion of these movies, I feel so puzzled that the director focus on characters in the movies all about the dramatic and mystery of the families but not in general. Also, he decided to choose an actress to be role as a fiancee twice. I would know if I see actress is really acting in the movie like Gerald but in real-life, I will say no. Often, you will noticed something is about cultural and religion like "italian people had strong values about marriage and catholics" and sometimes can be identity like family in Italy but maybe you see italian families in the movie like God Father. I do not really understand why the director is just like choose an actress to be role as fiancee and acting role toward other person like arguing twice but why not be different role like army would be relation direct to doctor in kinds of relationship , also, I knew about role play from communication studies course.
Right away, I do not really want to know because what if I was seem think to meet person can be real like argue with other people but in fact, every actor must follow script within emotions. We had kinds level of relationship that we knew each other like good friends and already conversation in person every day. No thanks for movie would bring actors/actress in the movie shows roles and emotions to audience because I do not feel so right for me because it will impact on me had relationship with this person. Sometimes I can be scared to be in a relationship with someone if I see someone I knew who is in movie in the future but seem like I do not feel so ready to be in a relationship. Never mind, I would not but I hope I can find right person who is good hearted lead to be healthy relationship and marriage in the future.

I knew this person is good well because talked with her often and knew for a long time, also, I am sure that she know who she is.
