Hello, is it true that there is about 10,000 deaf/hoh reside in Tampa/Clearwater/STP area?

I have no idea how many deaf/hoh people live resident in Tampa/Clearwater area. I didn't socialize deaf people as much because of drama issues there. Not friendly/snobbish there. I've been through that before. Just only beautiful by the beach area.
 
Hey there. I'm HOH and from Iowa. Nice to meet you! I used to know SEE and now I'm improving on ASL skills. The problem is that I'm shy and quiet type of guy. I really hope this isn't a problem and hope you have a great day!!
