You heard me. Bought it with one game called resistrance falls of man, Almost buy Rainbow Six Las vega for ps3 but I dont know which one is better ps3 or 360 version
 
Congrats! I did see a guy walk out of Best Buy with a PS3 box. I'd check a few reviews for R6V and compare. One thing for sure is that Microsoft's Live service whips whatever Sony has set up.
 
I read the cover of the back of the resitrance game. it shows online up to 40 players. Thats fucking lot. GRAW has up to 16 and gow has up to 8.
 
Does that mean 20 players on each team for Resistance? Sounds pretty intense. Let us know how it plays.
A good PS3 game is Motorstorm, although I'm hearing it has no multiplayer.

Just opened the box now. And will hook up pretty soon because i have to clean my room and cook some food and then be ready to play maybe with dojosky.
 
LOL, I went to Fry's Electronic.. Somebody is returning Playstation 3, he doesn't want to have it. He just wanted his money back.. WTF!? He should have sell it in eBay.. :D

I have read stories of people who tried to sell on Ebay and only got $150 profit. These who sold on ebay right at launch weekend made the money. Now it seems nobody is too interested in forking over anything over the retail price for the PS3, I suspect could be due to the Wii also being more readily available and cheaper.
I have thought about it, and I refuse to buy a PS3 while Sony is only packing in composite cables. For $600, I want a damn HDMI cable included.

My friend who's not a member got a PS3 with game called resistrance falls of man. It looked impressive when I saw him playing the game last night when we were using the webcam via ichat. He used his Samsung CRT HDTV and it was at 720p.

I saw the demo of GT HD, wow it looks so real even tho it used the PS2 engine so it should be more impressive if it's using the PS3 engine.

He was using component cable from the PS2 and works great on the PS3. ;)

Don't buy any HDMI cables from Best Buy... they're a total RIP-OFF!

Go to a local/independent-owned computer supply store, some of them sell HDMI cables. That's where I got mine at a much lower price...
 
thanks banjo. Dojosky told me that ps3 can play nes, snes, sega, genesis and MAME too. because it has linux emu because it has inux OS lmao. i have to find out how does it work.

Composite cable? That's not big deal, also easier for anyone to make decision to order component or HDMI cable and Sony offers HDMI cable for $50 or $60 but not release yet.

Not all TV have HDMI input, that why.
 
Yeah, BUT Microsoft includes a cable with the Pro 360 that has BOTH Composite and Component, which is obivously more sensible and pratical than what cheap ass Sony is doing.
I have seen Sony's HDMI cables for $59.99. How much did you pay for yours, Banjo? (if you have one)

Well, you can use a male-to-male HDMI cable for PS3. Thank god though, I paid around $30 (CDN) for a 15 ft long HDMI cable. Not really a bad deal when it come to buying cables in-store but it can be found for much cheaper online like at www.monoprice.com and etc.

Do you have a PS2 with component cable? if yes...use that to plug in the PS3 and it should work. My friend did that with his PS2's component cable plugged into a PS3.
