Humming In My Ears Redo

i figured i may of put the original post in the wrong catagory. I have always had a high pitched whistling noise playing constantly in my ears since i was little so i am used to it. But just as late a humming sound has joined the whistling and also i have been finding it more difficult to hear what someone is saying when they are talking to me and not facing me. What's going on?, am i going deaf?! A bit scared

Its likely inner ear progressive nerve damage. It gets worse as you get older - but I am not an audiologist or a hearing specialist, I am just a person with inner ear nerve damage and I wear HA's in both ears - I am deaf without them.
