I have a question to you gardeners...

How would you grow tomatoes? I've never done any gardening before so this is my first time for me to ask in here about gardening.

Since I live in an apartment with my parent, and I can't do any gardening, I just thought I should ask just in case if I decide to own a house, but not very soon... :P

They're not hard to grow.

Number one, buy a baby tomato plant from a gardening store.

Transplant it in a bigger pot and make sure it gets plenty of sunlight, morning sunlight is the best, of course it needs to be outside.

water it once every 2 days in the early morning hours depending on weather and don't let it dry out too much....make sure you don't water ON the leaves. They get leaf burns when you water on the leaves which water acts like a magnifying glass.

Wait for around 2 to 3 months until it is full grown producing red ripe tomatoes....that's for the basic user with an apartment patio.

Gardening them in the soil in a backyard might be a little more challenging.

Well, when a man tomato and a woman tomato really like each other . . . ;)
