I am a new member of a committee who helps people who have a disability to get a job. This is a little bit different from Vocational Rehab because we actually work with big companies to help them give the disabled to have access to whatever they need. I would love to have any personal experience or opinions or ideas of 1) what a deaf (or whatever other disability you have) person can do to increase his/her chances of getting a job that s/he likes? 2) what can a company do to facilitate a better environment for them (in terms of working there or chances of working there).
