I bet you would have to give out your personal information every-time you have to use relay service to make calls to business or other things.

I am aware of the policy but do you truly trust relay operator to not share the information?

What choices do we have? We sometimes have to depend on services of others, whether it's VRS, Relay, etc. to have our needs being met.

Do I trust Relay 100%...well probably not since nothing in this world is absolute.

^ it sucks dude when any business ask you for your ssn or creditcard information before they can proceed to answer whatever u have any questions.

some say i should print or save everytime i make a calls to relay but that s waste of time. just accept that we have no choice but to give up our security for ease of life.

I never think of use trust to relay service.

Yet you have to tell them your personal information. bascially you re just praying that they have morals and follow the policy. otherwise you're shot.

I never think of you as my idiot one.

THINK ABOUT this not just Relay services, many customer services at any corporation (hearing) such as banks, hospitals so I don't think it's any different!!!

They do have a policy, simply if you don't feel comfortable with a certain operator, simply take down their operator number and report it to the manager.. simple as that..

nothing is secured but what can you do about it... I've always use Relay services for many things..

Err, you're giving your personal information to the person on the other end of the call, what trust do you have in them in the first place, eh?

The point's moot -- there are laws against relay operators using your personal information. Just like there are laws against fraud. So you're safe and protected.

Exactly, the point is moot.
The history of Identity thieves started back in 1990, the first known and recognized ID thieve crime was in Colorado, all started in where? The mortgage broker secretary office! One woman, whose teaches at kindergarten. Image with limited income, got steller (Means super excellent) credit score, applied for mortgage, had all of ID information in front of her! She used it up and raked almost 100,000 dollars debts! She wasn"t aware of this until too late.

It pretty simple.
If your paranoid about relay service then don't use the relay services.

Otherwise use relay service worry-free and deal with any problem that may arise in future or may never happens in the first place for you.

Ah gotcha. that s good thing to know. :ty:

at least T-Mobile only asks for the last 4 digits of your SSN, not the entire thing, so that helps a bit... haha. But I do get a little more paranoid with credit card info and such... I know there's laws the operators have to abide by, but I still can't help feeling a bit paranoid when entering any personal info via relay.

Not even just personal info.I would like to have a chat with my girlfriends and not have every word listened to.I wish there was another way.I miss my gossip gab sessions!
