Would you say you are good to your word? Or are you one of those people who says they will do something or promise to do something and it never gets done have have to be nagged at?
I was raised to be good to my word. When I had/have been told to do something or something is requested of me, I try to fit it into my time and make sure it gets done. If there is the likely hood of that not happening, I will contact the person to let them know.
I really dislike it when people say they will do something and they put it off for days or even weeks. When I'm told something, I expect it. Somethings can happen but most the time it is sheer laziness and lack of respect when things aren't done when told otherwise.

I am usually good to my word. I belong to the International Catholic Deaf Association, the Director himself is deaf, and is overwhelmed. Their 45th Anniversary Banquet is coming up in Sept. so I offered to help him with it. The Director said he would give me help, but, so far he has not lifted a finger which is fine, because at times I work better alone. On the other hand, the same Director who is so overwhelmed, managed to set up 2 Casino trips, one to Foxwoods, and one to Mohegan Sun both are in Conn.
