How does one do when....

when i had a gf of two years, she lived here in florida but her grandmother lived in alabama. when her grandma was sick she went to alabama to visit her for like a week. and i too was going crazy. through out that week i kept looking at pictures of her and us, and thinking about how much i love her and how sweet she is. that helped me out. i mean i still missed her but, looking at pictures and thinking about her helped out a bit.

i love to "spank the monkey" the monkey and i are good friends.
 
Good for you AJ. Yes "spanking the monkey" is a normal thing to do.

Another point is if some is away from a loved one. Spanking the monkey is the better thing to do. Then going out & getting some from some one else...:smoking:
 
Yeah, RJR, Sinned was trying to bring a little levity to this topic and to perhaps give RR a chuckle. No harm done.
 
Long years back, When my hubby was involved university post-secondary and gone to co-op course at Alliston, Ontario.. Pretty far away from my home area.. I was kind restless and miss my man for 4 months away.. Only Rarely he comes home weekend and to see us family.. I'm glad It's over long-haul long relationship...

Of course, there's always no fun long relationship.. Hopefully you will keep in touch w/your wife or gf... through pager.. In my time, there was no pager.. through phone calls long distance 2 time a week.. Recieved the phone bill *pulled my hair out* LOL by the way in your year lucky because have new techoglies around you by using pager...

As for me....welllll, I'm going bonkers here...in other words...driving nuts(*looks at all the bits of hair on the floor that I've pulled*) while my sweetheart is away on business (cook-offs)trip. I do miss her very very much, missing her sweet lovely smile, the radiance from her eyes, the glow bouncing off her hair and especially, her heart, the 'love' she holds and the caring she has for myself and others.
