I learned in the ASL classes I had to take in school. I started in 5th grade then continued on until 10th grade I think. I was in a class comprised mostly of late starting kids that were Deaf/HoH. My parents forced me into it because they weren't sure how much longer I'd be able to hear.Then I quit using it and acted like a stupid teenager rebellious and promptly forgot most.
