My son is profound deaf since 3, and Tmobile has refused Data only plan. He has for years paid minutes base, and cant afford. Also, supposed friends conned him into 2nd line for them,(hearing) then quit paying.g their share! Tmobile wants to charge Termination & other fees to switch his account...any good info out there?:roll:

Early Termination!

He's been trying to....they want several hundred $$. I am trying to file complaint w Fcc and DRC, but its difficult to say least. Ty...

Well....this is not what you want to hear, but, if your son signed a contract with TMobile for two lines, and the contract has a clause about early termination fees, then he has no choice but to pay the fees. TMobile does not care what the situation is, all they care is that your son signed their contract and agreed to bind by it.

Keep in mind that there are thousands of people out there that want to cancel their contracts for many different reasons.

Be more careful about "friends" in the future.

Who cares if it was t mobile?? Just replace T mobile with Verizon or AT T. See what will happen?? You'll tell help me fight Verizon or AT T.

The hard cold fact: your son screwed up letting "friends" use him.

Try talking to another T-Mobile associate, in person. Many of these T-Mobile stores are operated like franchises or independent dealers. They can actually change the rules to fit your situation. I know from experience. If they want to keep your business, they will work with you. I got two different offers from two different guys at the same location, a couple hundred dollars different! Keep checking, in person, not online, and not when it's super busy.

I am with Derekbicycles on this. Your son lets his so called friends to add second line under his account, then he is screwed. I am sorry to tell you like this..

Tmobile is not Deaf friendly unlike AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. Tmobile wants your son's money.

Pay the early termination fee and shop for other provider that offers Deaf friendly device with a low cost contract.

Good luck.

sorry he got a fool from his "pretend friend" to use him for it. Next time he has to be careful.
