Hottest Summer ever?

I Dont think so.I think way back in Early 70s was the hottest summer on record.
 
I don't remember the early 70's since I was born in the early 70's. But I can see this summer has been really hot~! I love summer!!!!! so it doesn't bother me... well, yeah one thing does.. is the AC running up my utility bill! :hyper:

It's the hottest summer in Pacific Northwest since around 1977, so I experienced it anyhow. It's much cooler today (yay!) It's only 65 degrees at 1:05 pm. The temps went from Friday to Monday at 97, 96, 95 and 92.

Yeah today is alot cooler than it was last week. it HAS cooled down some.

At least it's a relief from the nationwide heatwave! ;)
 
The hottest summer that I experienced was of the year 2000 .
It was so hot that I used to need to take off my hearing aids and let my ear dry.
 
hell last summer was the record breaking temp in toronto. this summer was better imo, so far only 4 heat wave warnings compared to 14 last summer by now
 
There has been some record breakings in some areas but I believe this summer is one of the hottest, but not far from the MOST hottest summer yet. It's been in the 100s here in California for the past few days - I just can't wait to head back to home tomorrow to a cooler weather but then....the humidity is what I am not looking forward to when heading back to home, lol
