Ingredients:
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 lb. butter
1 lb. brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Soften vanilla and butter. With wooden spoon, cream butter and brown sugar together. Add cinnamon and mix. Mix in softened (but not melted!) ice cream into butter and brown sugar mixture. Pack back into a freezer container and store in freezer.
To make hot buttered rum:
Place 1 oz. of rum in a mug. Add 2 tablespoons of mix, and fill with boiling water. Stir until dissolved.
This is a great holiday drink.
