It's not an argument about how some deaf people are treated by some hearing people. My personal issue is that I feel like I am being stereotyped due to how some deaf people chose to word things. thanks for clearifying the 95%How ironic...
The hearing members here are arguing amongst themselves over how deaf people are being treated.
We, the deaf people, are the ones suffering at the hearing peoples' hands here, just remember that.
(Of course not all hearing people....just 95% of them)

Bott.
The hearing who are new to the Deaf community have no idea what many of us go thru on a daily basis. I've had to deal with people who believe i'm borderline MR even within my own family; I learned from my doctor that a member of my family thought I had a low IQ and that I couldn't learn very much last month.
