Since we have members from all over the world, I am curious to what are the biggest holidays that is specific for your country only and what do people usually do to celebrate them?

I will start...from the U.S.A here so the big U.S.A. holidays are

4th of July ....people tend to have cookouts, picnics, camping, and watch fireworks shows at night.

Thanksgiving Day...people tend to get together with their families and meal is usually turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, corn, dinner rolls, and apple pie.

Memorial Day...usually the holiday that starts the summer season. People usually celbrate it by going camping, cookouts, going to parades, and swimming.

Labor Day...usually the holiday that ends summer....same as Memorial Day.

Your country?

You forgot Halloween, Easter, Christmas, New Years Day,
Even Valentines Day, Mothers/Fathers Day.

Christmas is a holiday celebrated by other countries other than the U.S. and I think the same goes for the other holidays.

In my first post, I said holidays for your specific country.
