Hey community! I've been very excited to announce this wonderful project in the works related specifically to the Deaf Community. As we know, there is a clear delineation between the deaf and hearing communities. This is specifically seen within the media/Hollywood/films. Hollywood and the film industry is not a true reflection of our society.
I wanted to let everyone know of an incredible project in development that could truly break down barriers and raise awareness. The story is about a young, deaf African American boxer who suffers tragic events. In short, he ends up a single father struggling to survive while raising his 6 month old boy.
The movie will feature the 1st Ever African American Deaf Actor in Cinematic History to play the Lead role.
