Some of you may have never seen what high speed train looks like at high speed.

This video shows the TGV going to 320 miles per hour on a test track closed to the general public.

YouTube - TGV World speed record at 515,3kmh(320mph)

Other video of TGV going 200 miles per hour in revenue service.

YouTube - !!! The High Speed Line 200mph !!!

The typical TGV uses 25,000 volt AC power line. High voltage for sure.

Enjoy! will add more high speed train videos.

It looks very scary to me. I could use it instead of my car on long distance travel I wish.

That train you were talking about. It goes maximum of 186 mph in some areas. ;) IT goes up to 100 mph in Great Britian due to the electricity restrictions and goes up to 186 mph in some areas in France.

I only to say it never mind .... !! Have you been on the train ? just wonder ..
have a nice day !!

Watch your attitude, Cutepommie. You said "no"....this is why. Next time, say something in a nice sentence instead of offending someone. You should say "Interesting, there's another train in England that goes up to 125 mph called GNER"

Thanks!

Too bad we live in the US which they depend on automobile culture, so that's why not many are interested in high speed trains in the US unlike Europe and Asia, how sad is that?

I think it's because that US is a huge country and they can't cover that much and train is ridiclous for covering thousand of miles, so plane is a better option even tho high speed trains can be covered up to 700 miles max which makes sense.

tj prolly would freak over seeing that videoes.. but hes not here so will hold the link in my fav place so he can see that next weekend .. hes at his fathers house right now..

anyway i would love to ride on that as i never experience riding on train.. i wonder what it would feel like?? :)

honesty it feels nothing, I rode the shinkansen and it was pretty meh imo.

That would be fun to ride those train and get there in maybe 3 1/2 hours later than it would have taken with a regular train. I am sure for those who have a fear of flying ( It has nothing to do with Sept. 11th, just flying claustrophobia ) This would be great news for those who can really benefit from riding the speed bullet train and arriving there in less than the time it would have taken had they rode the regular train.

I am not afraid of flying, train or boat. I enjoy all three of them :) :thumb:
