Hi Peepz!
Well first off... I was born completely deaf in my right ear and this was not discovered until I was five years old when I started answering the telephone.
The doctor said that there would be a good chance that I could drastically loose my hearing as I entered middle age. The time has come and after 30 blarring teenage concerts and a construction carrier what he said has come true.
I know absolutely noone that is deaf and I'm now I'm trying to learn ASL before I loose all my hearing. I dicided to join a forum hoping to get advice on how to learn with no one to practice with.
I have many stories that I'm sure everyone has herd before, but that is just the newbie in me about the subject. Like I have to stand real close to someone if we are outside just to hear them and guys thing that I'm challening them to fight. They get real rude and biosterous.
But this is one guy that has lived with it my whole life so I don't trip on it. I just want to be prepared for when and if I go complete deaf.
This forum looks really cool. I'm the type of person that likes to post pictures, jokes and just have a good time.
I'm looking forward to getting to know some of the people here.
Later!
