Hi my name is Sue, I am a 40 yr old (next b-day in Sept..eek) woman who lives in Salem. I am HOH have been since birth but Dr.s discovered it whn I was 2. I grew up with Hearing Aids since then. I picked up lip-reading at a very young age, sadly I didn't learn ASL. I am learning it now at the community college. I am happily married and he has always said that he wasn't going to learn it then the other day he asked me how to sign a couple of things...LOL
I wish my mom would of let me learn ASL when I was young but for whatever reason she was adamant bout me talking and "hearing" like everyone else. That is why I am learning it now. :P
