Hello,

Just joined here. I've been deaf all my life. I do wear a hearing aid in one ear. I'm married to a wonderful "hearing" man and have two hearing children. Sometimes it gets lonely not having a deaf person in the family that can understand me. I do have a deaf brother but he's way out in Texas. Looking forward to meeting you all.
 
:welcome: to AllDeaf forum. I am the same like you as I am deaf from birth. I am the only deaf in the family too, but I don't have a deaf brother or sister. My mother and father plus siblings are all hearing.

You should be lucky that you got a deaf brother that can communicate with you without being lonely. I know he lives out in Texas. If you have enough money to visit your brother, this would be a great visit so that you can signed or talk that would get the attention between you to instead of one way street. Both you and your brother are two way street so that is cool.
