there,
husband describes himself as deaf w/o HA's; I was hearing when I met him in college, recently became hoh. I am in my 30's.
issues come up no matter what. I dated my then-boyfriend <now husband> for about 6 years before I got married, was engaged for about a year, have been married for about 11 years. My experience is that patience, flexibility, and sense of humor work wonders. Also things change, crap happens, whether d/Deaf or hearing-
