Hey everybody!
I feel so out of the loop that I felt it was necessary to post and tell people we're the heck I've been! lol

As most of you may know, FL has been dodging hurricanes for much of the last month. I was forced to evacuate for this last one, and was gone for 3-4 days. Then, when we got home, my computer decided it was going to act up on us, and our DSL modem died. We replaced it only to have a slew of other problems crop up. The computer is still down, but my Mother has a computer, and I've been able to get on now and again to check email and chat with a few friends. I'm still not sure when *my* computer will be up and running again (it's decided it likes Chinese instead of English now lol), so I'm going to be kinda scarce, but I wanted to stick my head in here and say "Hey", so you all didn't think I got swallowed up by storm surge or something! lol

I saw that a couple of our friends had birthdays, so a special belated to my pal Froggie and DD!!! Hope you ladies had a good one! :)

It's nice to be back...I hope I can stick around for awhile now that the tropics seems to have calmed down a bit!

I hope all has been well with everyone! :)

Good to see you're safe, Oceanbreeze. You have been missed, that is for sure. Hope your computer becomes English again - not sure you want to learn Chinese anytime soon. ;)
 
So glad to know that you're OK :) Sure hope that FL's finished with the hurricane season, smile.

I wish! We won't be done with the season until the first of November, but it looks like we caught a break. There's still plenty of crap coming off the coast of Africa, but they are going in other directions. Fine by me! My nerves are shot, and I'm tired of this crap!!! LOL
 
I hope everything is ok but there are 2 more hurricanes on the way, Jeanne, and other one I forget.. now they are beating south carribean, soon then to Cuba then to FLA, who knows?? I can't believe that there is more hurricanes this year than in the past! I know life can be suck when they ask you to leave and leave your things behind......

There's actually three active storms in the Atlantic right now. There's Jeanne, Karl, and Lisa. Jeanne and Karl aren't going to be much of a problem for me, and I'm not stressing over them. Lisa, however, COULD be an issue in the next week or so. Forecasters are saying she could track right into the Carribean, and that could be a problem depending on her strenghth when or if she makes her entry into the Carribbean Sea.

I tell you what, ladies and gentlemen, I'm about done .... I'm ready for some xanax. Anyone want to pass some my way? LOL :)

Chinese? Umm, no. I'm still working on learning proper English at this point! LOL ::: looking around::: Now, where DID I put that dictionary? LOLOL ;)

It's good to be back, Malfy! Darn good!! I missed the forum, badly. :)

This might sound self centered, but I do too. Seriously, though ..I do. I heard a statistic recently that about floored me... I heard that 20% of FL's land mass has been affected by the last three hurricanes. Think about that, guys!! Twenty percent! That's a lot of lives affected by Mother Nature.
