Hi Everyone,
I'm currently studying architecture at Nottingham Uni in the Uk.
I Have just been set a brief to design a home for a deaf film maker. In my brief it says that the film maker is completely deaf but can feel sound vibrations. I was just wandering if anyone can help me with some ideas of how people whon are deaf have problems within the house, for instance the door bell? I pretty much have a blank sheet at the moment to design on so any ideas and problems people encounter and some solutions would be welcome.
Thanks for you time
Will

Dang, I should start a consulting fee for all the architects/engineers that comes in here and asks for our opinion.

I would never have the need to leave the house again.

There have been several threads on this exact very subject here as of late. To the original poster, I suggest you look around on this forum.
