Hello Everyone,
I need help and any help or input is welcome. I'm attempting to learn ASL and don't have funds to pay for it. As i'm starting college at the age of 34, life has giving me the best gift in the world. MY BROTHER! "David" is 35 with his masters degree and is married with child on the way. Long story short he is deaf and through out life we have seen each other maybe 15-20 times, not sure. Also he is a graduate of Gallaudet!
For what ever reason i never learned ASL and i have no good excuses. I WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH MY BROTHER.
Could I have posted this help wanted with out the previous information? Sure.... But I feel putting this out in the open is getting rid of a ton of weight of my chest.
So are there any silent meetings where there is someone that is willing to guide me in learning ASL? I will eventually tell you the rest of the story, but it will be best I let it out in sign.
