I remember read something about deaf people having no balance like a bird with no tail because of their hearing loss in this forum (?) as I search everywhere to find it, would any one of you please find it quicker for me pretty please?? I believe I made a post there too. I don't know who start this thread unfortunately!

It is interesting to read as I would like to read it again!

Thank you! :)

Maybe there is no thread on this subject...
I know what you mean about having no balance due to hearing loss...
I dont have very good balance myself after i lost all my hearing in my
right ear and i have some in my left ear so it is worse now..when i go walking on walk/jog track, i walk funny sometimes and i worry that people will notice that and think im drunk..lol! My husband has lost some hearing in his left ear and when we were up high on Stratsophere at Las Vegas, he looked down and suddenly got dizzy! He used to be a fireman so it really shocked him that would affect him now..his balance is not so good anymore either.

Because of the nature of what caused my deafness (Neurofibromatosis), my balance nerves were completely removed. So I rely on vision and touch for balance only. Tend to walk like a drunk indeed!
