Help for a little boy

I'm trying to look into getting help for my god son. His mother is a single mother and his father does not pay child support and refuses to. My question is are there anyways to get help paying for replacement parts for his implant. He is all boy and loses parts and now has to start taking his remote to and from school everyday. It will be with him everyday now. Thank you for any help or info that you are able to give.

How was his implant paid for originally? Would that same source be available to pay for replacement parts? Was there any insurance coverage on parts? Is it covered by Medicaid?

Isn't the father legally required to pay child support? The judge can get him to pay up.

Go to the state, they'll make him pay child support! Get her to apply for Food Stamps, Medicaid and TANF, hell go apply for WIC! ( TANF helps single parents with cash assistance ) ( It is called different things in different states. ) When she goes to apply for state assistance, they will ask who the father is, where he is, and why he isn't assisting. As soon as the state hears he refuses to pay, he'll be subpoenaed ( this takes some time but she'll be collecting the benefits while she waits ) When he reports to court ( if he doesn't he gets a fancy warrant and is forced to ) if he denies being the father, they'll make him do a DNA test. If he IS the father, he'll be forced to pay everything she's used in assistance from TANF and then have another court date set to have child support amount set. Once that is set, he pays it to the state, and the state pays her. If he misses 3 payments, his license is suspended until he catches up, if he still doesn't pay, he's arrested, jailed and still has to pay all the back up when he gets out... then, they'll take his income tax. The state will get their money one way or another, best believe it. You just have to take the first steps to get the state assistance, and let her go from there... as long as she cooperates, she'll have nothing to worry about. Medicaid should help with that cost or be able to assist her in finding something or someone who will. Good luck!
