Today I was trying to upload my fav songs off CD and then I put a Cd into my computer and not responding at all..So I went to "my computer" and found the CD thing got dissapeared. I never touch the CD for about 3 months and it was a bit weird that I haven't do anything with it.I was discovered that my computer got an error code 39.. I wondering if anyone will be able to explain me the simple step by steps how to solve the problem.

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."

Much appreciated if you guys will be able to help me out. :ty:

I have seen this before and sometime virus or some program that was installed from download corrupted CDrom driver.

Sometime CDdrive have dust on its len inside of it. Cleaning with swab and rubbing alcohol may help if you know where to look for inside tight spot. I have done with several DVD and CD drive. I clean it's read head and finally it works perfect. Few CDrom drive sometime don't work after cleaning and It need to be replaced.

Worth a try for the future.

Catty
