Hi
My name is Dusty. I live in Las Vegas. I am hearing. But I grew up in a community with both hearing and deaf people. K-12 My classes had both deaf and hearing kids in it. It was about 40/60 ratio. I am very interested in the deaf community. I am studying Speech Pathology in college. I am taking ASL 2 right now. Before I graduate I will have taken six ASL classes. I am actually looking for Deaf Events in the Las Vegas area to help my learning and with my ASL. Have a Great Day!
 
Hello, I wish I could help you more but I am a deafie just starting to learn asl so you would know more than me,lol. plus the fact I live in Bama wouldn't help either unless you came out here to visit. Welcome to alldeaf and hope you enjoy your stay!
 
I'll be @ Las Vegas on Feb 15th for vacation, but I heard there's deaf basketball tournament will be hosting at Las Vegas during that weekend, so you should go there, and socializing. :cool:
