Hello,

My name is Eberly. My friends and family call me Eb. I am married and have two children. My son is 19 and off to college. My daughter is 13 and full of attitude. I am taking an ASL 1 class and a class on deafness now. I am a special service school bus driver. I am looking to become immersed in the Deaf culture and make many new friends and acquaintances along the way.

I do wish that I had a bus driver who knew ASL when I was growing up. Thank you for wanting to take ASL. I hope that kids who ride on your bus are grateful for that.

I have one girl I sign with what I have learned so far. She is very funny and she likes to tell me when it is time to drive because the other buses are leaving and which way to turn by her signing Left or Right to me when we approach turns. I must say I enjoy communicating with her and look forward to learning more ASL to improve communication.
