I am kind of confused about your statement in doing the project. What is capstone class? What is your major beside the Deaf Studies? Are you majoring in Social work or Pschologist or what? Help me for clarification here. You are not making any sense. No wonder, not many are responding to your statement. Just be clear on what you are saying. :ty: (thank you). :cool2:

A capstone class is the final class which completes a major.

My capstone class was a pass/fail class. We basically reviewed a few papers we already had written for a few previous classes and revised them.

@Bebonang ok a capstone class is a class the only senior take to be able to graduate.... ok my major is deaf studies and my concentration is Teaching I want to be a teacher I'm still not sure if I want to get my credential on Special Education on or teaching Deaf kids. my topic for my project is How deaf children born from Hispanic Latino hearing parents that don't know ASL or English they only know Spanish... and they have basically no communication with their deaf child because the language barrier, how the deaf child acquires language, what's the feelings of the child because he/she cant communicate with his/her parents? and because they are not exposed to any language at home some of them are only exposed to home signs is hard for the child to learn ASL? In school do they are learning as the same level of their other peers? ..... I hope is a little more clear...I just want to interview someone that experience that not have communication with their parents do to language barriers ..

@Glenn Yeah is the final class but we had to choose topic and we had to do research and we have to do a 20min presentation....

Okay, I think I am beginning to understand that. We do have some Spanish ADers (AllDeafers) here, but you will have to wait for them to come to your forum to answer your questions. I am not Spanish. I am Native American, an Indian, and a Cree living on the First Nation Reserve (Reservation for Indians) in Ontario, Canada. So hang in there for other Aders to come in and explain your questions. :)

@dragonman Thanks!!!! @Begonang Thanks,,, I glad that I explain my self better I hope someone has the time to help...
