Hello, I am in Michigan looking for connections (online is great!) to Deaf/HoH community after becoming nonverbal after a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). I am still perfectly hearing, but almost completely unable to speak without incurring further brain damage, since the speech center of my brain experienced too much trauma. I have just started taking ASL classes online, today being the first introduction to ASL. Please don't be shy! I love cats, cooking, reading, and drawing.
