Hello,

I am Phebe, I am from Hong Kong and now studying in the US. I have hearing loss since unknow, but discovered at 6. I cannot hear from left and depending on the right with hearing aid.I still don't know how I got hearing lost. No family history, no specific sickness. Truely undefine.

Suddenly about month ago my hear got worst with loud ringing and now I can bearly hear people talk.

I am really depressed, since I am in my middle of studies and now seems cannot move forward...

I hope I can share and get helps here :)

to AD.. Aww I have tinnutis and dizziness and I was diagonsed with Meniere's Disease not long ago. So don't think you are alone with this but there are many people out there that have this problem. So chin up. :) So meanwhile I hope you will enjoy the stay with us and happy posting away! :)

I know it is difficult to cope with the progressin of the loss. I too am loosing mine everyday that goes by. I am dure you will find support here. I sometimes find it easiest to cry then figure out how to solve the problem. Chin up, its easier to feel the sunshine that way.
 
Hello and welcome to Alldeaf! Perhaps another visit to the audiologist or specialist is what you might need...and perhaps you'll find something better or stronger which may enable you to 'hear' better? Just a suggestion, hopefully you'll find something to pull yourself out of being depressed. Let us know if you do-- ;) Anyhow, hope you'll enjoy your stay here in AD!
