I just want to say Hello to you all! My husband is lower “c” Deaf. He has Bilateral Cochlear Implants. He has a rare Genetic syndrome that cased him to loose his hearing at a very young age among other things too! He grew up speaking with the help of his parents and speech therapy. He didn’t learn ASL until he was in college. He has taught me some ASL! I love learning ASL! It’s a Beautiful Language to watch and also learn!! We actually go to a local Deaf group where we live! I love watching and learn ASL with that group! They are a really neat and very kind group of people! I’m looking forward to learning more ALS!!
