Hello...My name is Nichi. I'm not hearing impaired, however, someone I care about very much is and I want to find out more information. I want to learn sign language and help make him feel comfortable. If anyone has any suggestions for websites I would greatly appreciate the links. Also, I'm looking for a webcam chat room or someone who is on YIM with a webcam so that I can practice my sign as I learn it. I don't see my friend, but about once a week and I want to be able to speak to him as best I can. Thanks and have a great day. ^_^

I could suggest you could find ASL classes in your local area.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and for the advice. I've learned so much already. ^_^ I was actually able to send him a 30 sec video with my phone where was able to use ASL to say 3 whole sentences!
