my gf and i went went to the mall to do some shopping for her. then we went into the pet store to look around, which is always a bad idea. we walked around lookin at all the little puppies and thats when i saw him, a black chow chow puppy. i reached in and started pettin him and playing with him. and i fell head over heals in love with him. and i wanted to take him home with me but i couldn't. for one, he was too expensive, 1000 dollars. and i have another dog, i wasn't sure how well they would get along with eachother. but mostly i just couldn't afford him. i even named him Jack. lol then my gf saw how upset i was and she said, "come on ill buy u a pretzel"
 
aww thats adorable, i know these re expensive!.. that's good ur gf comfy you in the way :)
 
Black chow chow puppy sounds cute, but it has lots of fur, since u live in florida where it's humid. $1000 is a lot of money for a puppy. I'm sure ur girlfriend appreciate the thought, knowing how much you love her. You're made for each other, you and ur gf. Hugs!!
 
im thinking about going down to a shelter and adopting a dog. its cheaper, they are already fixed and had their shots, and im saving a life.

thats the best thing ... go down to a shelter.. saving a life .. to give this puppy or dog 2nd chance of life in happy home..

Awwww AJ, I do understand how you felt. I also would feel sad after I leave a pet store with all cute animals in there. I'd always say I hope they will find someone to take them out of there. You say going to a shelter to get a dog is a splendid idea! Now you got me thinking of going to one to get myself a kitten :thumb:
 
I love to go to the pet store, my children always want a puppy every time we go, I would love to have one but the problem is summer time is very hard for me to be home with the puppy, I don't want to neglect my own puppy. I believe the timing was way off but it's always makes me sad to leave the pet store empty hand.

But, the good thing is I get to play with each puppy that my children choose and I choose to pet, hold, cuddling, kissing in a little room. But at the end, it gets sadder when you have to return it back to the the pet store crews.

I recommend you look up the article as pennysaver and will printed about puppy depned the kind of breed..

Pet store..<~~ No thank you reason why i've been heard about puppy mills coming from.. and also rip price off totally awful!

Just throw for you this news!
