Heart Trouble ? This one really ministered to me today and I did exactly what it said to be extra sure. This is a really good one.

That is very interesting. AmericanChopper read bible and pray daily. I don't but I do read the books, "Hello from Heaven". It helps me alot to relieve before I go to bed.
 
I've seen few of those stories. The book on this link, is very sad. It's about a boy who got beaten by his father and send him out to collect money. That book really touch my heart.

No, I will NOT be nice to anyone who subscribes to that trailer trash literature.

If you agree with Chick Publication, you've just become one of them. That's the way I see it. You can get out of trash, you know that?

Well, I don't think it is trash. It has some good scriptures in it and they can read it from.

Some deaf people likes to read good Christian comic books/magazines they can enjoy. And, why not ? You can read fiction comics from the newspapers on every Sunday and nobody tells you that they are trash. Just let them enjoy to read.
 
Netrox, everyone is different. Some believe it and others don't. I just read it because I love to read! No matter what kind. I read fantasy, sci-fi, horror, mystery, romance, bible,history, science, etc,. I also read newspapers.
 
Netrox, you just missed the whole point of the tract. Please be honest and go back and read the tract and see what is being talked about on the tract " Heart Trouble " and the another tracts on here that really ministered to another people too.
 
Chick seeks out to terrify non-believers into believing their religion.

And it does work! That's what makes the publication so effective - it devised an ingenius way to attract illiterates and niave people to believe in their religion by the way they draw comics. Their comics are very compelling since they convey strong visual ideas.

It often starts with gothic bleak outlook and if one is saved, one comes out with positive imagery. That's effective.

My issue is that they lie and distort science and other religions to prove their beliefs are true and others are wrong. In one tract, "Big Daddy" relied heavily on straw-man fallacies to prove that evolution is false but their arguments are totally useless since they employed straw-man fallacies - they make statements that evolutionists did not say. In the end, evolution is the "big lie" when in reality, it's the tract making the lie.
 
If you want a nice Christian comic, read Christian version of Archie from Spire Christian Comics. It's positive and unlike Chick, it refuses to condemn people.
 
Netrox, There are many ways Christians can minister and witness and Chick tracts are not a way to terrify people. The Chick tracts has a very strong message and some people do need to hear the exact truth while anothers may need to hear Archie's message but this one, Archie's books are really for teenagers while the Chick tracts are for everybody. Just about everybody who is un-saved that knows a true christian will attack, defame and tell lies about that true christian.
