I hope I put this in right thread. Anyway, I just want to post about heart attack. I know few of members already knew about it by other forum. Anyway, I wonder if any of you or your family had experiences with heart attacks? I am grateful that I survived which I have learned that.

I have experienced with heart attack which happened last yr. I am involve in American Heart Association.

my late grandfather had 2 heart attack one in 1975 and another in 1976 he died in 1976 during smoking lots! my mom told me about that! and got killed him in 1976 for sakes!

my father had heart surgery last summer June 2004 but he never had attack no! but the dr found out my dad had little piece in his heart they give him operate but im really scary for him! and im been visit him everyday how he is after his hospital weeks he plans have heart rehab makes his improve of his heart and i went with him see my dad how he feels and he strong lots and he got retire from Southwestern Bell Phone Co, Inc.

my Uncle got heart surgery also but he not got unwell they went to hospital in Little Rock,Arkansas and i visit him after surgery and how he feels and he doing fine and he got rests lots but he never had heart attack like my late Grandfather had it.

im wishes i would had funds of my family have heart traditional surgery.

First my uncle in law (my oldest aunt's hubby) died from heart attack unfortunely 6 months before their oldest son got killed. it was pretty hell time for our family back in late 80's. Few years ago my oldest uncle had heart attack due to diabetic and had to get vein out of his leg first time which didnt fit and they had to pull other one from his other leg and make successful. HE is on diet and had to quit smoking like cold turkey. One of my neighbor who is like 2nd grandfather to me when I grew up had heart attack few times and they put pacemaker in his chest which last few years and died I think last year (which I was not aware of it until saw people come to their house while mowing yard they are 2 hours next to my dad's home the one I grew up in).

but im hard to interest about heart funds but my late grandfather had 2 heart attack in 1975 and in 1976 but he got killed in 1976 of heart attack and i would wanted to honour of him and makes my grandmother proud.

and also my father had heart surgery last summer 2004 of heart-valet but im totally scary to death about my dad in cicu but im been care my dad very much and see him everyday but he never had heart attack no! but he had heart rehab after he staying in hospital and i visit him at heart rehab once how he feels and he never had heart attack but he doing fine.

my uncle had heart surgery also im not sure what is but almost same my dad is!

you have any info about that?

Sorry to hear you had a heart attack. I hope you are doing well by now. I understand there are 3 ways to get heart attack and those are the only 3 I heard. They are: 1. too much cholesterol. 2. developed blood clot. 3. Scar tissue formed. Cholesterol happens from eating too much fried foods or foods that are high in cholesterol. Blood clots can happen from being hit or struck hard somewhere on the body or eating foods high in vitamin K in excess amounts. Scar tissues can be developed following a surgery. Where that part of the body that was cut open by the surgeon's knife, the open wound sometimes develops scar tissue and when the surgeon completes an operation, closes the open wound to heal, but sometimes there is a scar tissue left inside that closed wound. The risk is that the scar tissue may get in the blood stream and travel to different parts of the body. Some may have had a scar tissue for years without their heart becoming clogged or without a heart attack. They are lucky, but for how long? There are products that cure all of the above. You may want to talk to your Dr. about any one of the above, but just in case you need to know where you can get those products in case your doctor can't help you, they are found in health food stores. Just ask at the store what products will help, but be careful if you decide to dissolve blood clots if that is your case. I know one person takes this product (I will not name it here for safety reasons) 3 times a week every week and it has helped her a lot! Take care and again, be careful!
 
Correction to my earlier post...

I wish to correct myself on the part where I explained how a scar tissue occurs. It is when the surgeon is performing a deep incision. When the surgeon has a few more cutting strokes to make after he/she has begun the surgery, the surgeon should be precise at placing the sharp edge of the blade exactly onto the already opened wound where the knife had been before. If the surgeon does that perfectly, then there would not be any scar tissue. But if the surgeon was slightly off to the side when performing another cutting stroke, then there you have a strip of flesh possibly cut free from the rest of the cavity wall (know what I mean?). If that strip of flesh is still clinging on the cavity wall, it may be okay to leave it there for healing. But if the strip of tissue is actually loose and not clinging onto any part of the cavity wall where the incision was made, then the surgeon should have it removed or the risk may well lead to a heart attack sometime after the surgery is done. Some may ask how can a scar tissue cause a heart attack? Answer: It can block blood flow to the heart. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel this is an important subject. It is open for opinions or discussions if anyone wishes to talk about it. Farewell until we meet again.
