(Hearing) question about the music forums

I play many instruments however i am not deaf. likewise, i do not post on obvious threads asking the opinion of fellow HOH or deaf musicians. I was hoping if someone could tell me when/if it is appropriate to offer help or just talk and post in this section even though i can hear? I do not wish to offend anyone and i do not know too much about approaching the musical side of this forum/deaf. furthermore, if i do post should i always make it clear that i am indeed a hearie?
