hearing fine but have speech promblems

Ok I have a question I hope you can help me with.

My Grandson, in preschool has to have speech classes but I asked if his hearing was ok and my son said yes He's been tested 3 times but he is very dutchy. I have severe to profound hearing loss and I always worried my kids would get that misfortune also, they didn't So that's why I thought maybe his ears.

What easle can cause speech promblems ?

Jacque: Perhaps your grandson should examined by a doctor to determine the "cause of his speech problem".
Whether your "genetics" re" Hearing loss" has been "passed" can be determined from a genetic test. Of course, knowing such doesn't change the "condition"
 
Is he in therapy for articulation or spoken language issues? Articlation is fairly common ....but spoken language issues are less so, and can be a secondary issue in things like learning disabilities etc.
