hey best is Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 is BEST all-in-one! cost $1,000 or less, other VCR, DVD, DVR, Photo TV, WebTV, AOL Radio, MEPG Intenret, cost $3,000 more, Don't need it, very good is MCE 2005, it is call HTPC (Home Theate Personal Computer) same size as DVD/VCR box

read at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/default.mspx

Again. U forget something. There is no HDTV CC for MCE yet.

Stupid ATI dont make HDTV for MCE YET! Why I want ATI because it always have CC. Just have ATI support MCE but non-HDTV. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815116312

I help my friend for order right parts from newegg.com. So he build MCE and it work perfect. He thank me so much and save lot money. Almost less than $800 for that.

no, i am not talking about that, dude. you did not search "hdtv or htpc" in search box in AD. we did talk about these hdtv techies, stuffs, and FCC in previous posts so that is why i said old news.

i agree with neo about hdtv lcd that is better than plasma. plasma live shorter... many ppl warn us not to play video games on plasma or you wud burn the plasma out.

windows media is nice but there are other more softwares that work just fine. you can find more info about htpc techies forums - www.htpcnews.com
hdtv forum - www.highdefforum.com

again... you can find more achieves about htpc and hdtv this AD, RHR.

happy surfing.

Now new LCD is 2ms.
http://www.i4u.com/article4456.html
My 19" lcd is 20ms and I dont notice any blurry or slow at games. So I dont really care about it.

My Dell 20" widescreen LCD rated at 16 MS, it works great! 2 MS and 16 MS may not be much difference because it's less than a second, it's milli-second...probably millionth of a second, not sure.

Not everything have one. Be careful some type of Ati do support HDTV but not work on MCE. Some ATI have MCE not support HDTV.

That's ATI Elite Wonder is not support HDTV.

Careful Media Center Edition 2005 is OEM.
if you install old computer one time .. if yes Activity
only visit it.. bought new staff handward, then erase all hard disk from old computer then install MCE2005, they won't work still "Retry", "Telephone", or REmind 30 Days, i look perfect code-key same it.. I hit Telephone, I saw number 5 x 9 long number!! I called Microsoft. I give him long number then he give me long 7 x 5 put it. he said ONLY ONE COMPUTER! if broken motherboard, will call Microsoft again oh well
better buy non-OEM

but MCE2005 have built-in CC, htey don't have extra, only CC1, CC2, Text1, etc.. but no soild blackground!!
