Anyone own HDTV? Are you planning to get PS3? Also some members got one.

I'm looking for new HDTV with HDMI, also HDMI is important for me since Sony is smart to add HDMI input to get true 1080 and great with BD. I know that composite cable isn't good on PS3 and picture quality is full of crap compared to other cable, also not know about VGA and DVI (DVI to HDMI adapter) would port on PS3. If does happen then would perfect for monitor with DVI and both of DVI and HDMI are digital.

Just think about PS3...

Also composite cable is died and doesn't work on PS3 but its up to third party companies to make it for PS3.

PS3 does have composite. It comes with box. I prefer component or hdmi. I don't know why it must have composite with it. Stupid. It should be HDMI comes with it.

I do have Sony HDTV with 3 HDMI. I dont know what you looking for as price range for HDTV.

It is good to have more than one HDMI port. Lucky I need is three HDMI.

DVD player does have HDMI and it can progessive up to 1080i. It comes with speakers, 1280 watts. Pretty good. Great Bass!!

PS3, of course.

TIVO series 3, HDMI for only record HD tv shows. It is very important! Regular tivo can not record HD. Darn. I don't have it yet. Plan to get one later.

That's all that I need.

REALLY? What's up with Sony...

It supposed to release with component cable or HDMI instead of composite cable.

I'm looking for new HDTV on newegg.com and must have 1 or more for HDMI input and 2 or more for component input, also VGA input. I will use HDMI input for PS3 and component input for Xbox 360. I just want prices to under $1,000 from newegg.com or tigerdirect.com.

Sony HDTV does have composite inputs, component inputs, super video inputs, optical inputs, and HDMI inputs. It is not dead yet.

Maybe in three or four years later. Composite and super video inputs will be dead. Component and HDMI will be there.

Yup, I know that all HDTV has composite input right now and can use for Wii and other games.

I had use composite for around 10 years then never use them again for PS3 and 360 because they are lame and poor resolution, also it looks so horrible on 360 and haven't test on PS3.

I think that RF is no longer to use on 360 and PS3.

I have a 30" HDTV with no HDMI but DVI so I'd use HDMI->DVI adapter along with S/PDIF for hooking up to a home theater receiver but DVI hooked up to TV since no HDMI/DVI in the home theater receiver.

My HDTV I have is Magnavox 30" HDTV.
