The description says: "…deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals can participate in meetings, phone calls, videoteleconferences and multi-party conference calls in a functionally equivalent basis with Relay Conference Captioning (RCC) from Sprint and Federal Relay. Using the same high-quality captioners that produce closed captioning for television, you can receive live, realtime text streamlined to an Internet-connected computer anywhere in the world. A high-speed Internet connection is not required."
We can schedule their service with at least 48 hours advance notice (2 working days). From what I understand, it would be useful for meetings (i.e., Staff Meetings, Special Emphasis Program meetings, etc.) where the call would be made to the relay, and the captioner would type in what was being said.
Their web site is Relay Conference Captioning What do you think? Isn't it amazing technology?
