Have you ever been interviewed before?

Hello, I wonder if any of you have been interviewed before?

I'm not talking about job interview, interview by ASL student for their class, or interview by police after being hauled in for DUI. Some examples I'm interested in would include:

Interview by school newspaper because you led your volleyball team in scoring.

Interview by a group after donating money to 3rd World Country.

Interview by city after saving a woman from being raped.

So tell me. What have you been interviewed for? As always, I love your creativity.

Wow...some extreme examples....well, I don't know if this counts but I was asked to volunteer and have my hearing tested before a class at college. It was an audiology class and I was asked by a student who was in one of my other literature courses - so I agreed. I met the teacher, who explained to the class about my type of hearing loss, I sat down and everyone was excited. It didn't occur to me that I was probably the only person with hearing loss the class had...so when the girl began the test, I believe she was expecting the normal range. These people were probably all testing each other prior to me so no one had experienced this yet. She panicked thinking she was doing something wrong - I wasn't responding up to that point, and she hit the loudest tone and sent me jumping into the air. Boy was she embarrased. Anyway, they determined that I couldn't hear in the normal range....mission accomplished. :D

I haven't been interviewed by ASL students...heaven help me the day one asks because I'm definitely not a person to be asking. What right do I have to give an opinion to an ASL student? I'd turn it down.

However, I was interviewed by the radio station. The contest they were having was to win a random Nickelback CD. Other than that, no, it has always been people I've known that have gotten interviewed.
 
Yes by a newspaper reporter . I went to a town meeting to allow dogs to run on the beach in the winter. There where no working microphones and the town selectmen did not let the public know this and I told them that they should had an ASL interpreter at meeting . There where other issues beside the dogs so there a packed house. The selectmen stopped the meeting to try and fix the microphones but couldn't. They where going to shut down the whole meeting. I was outside with Finlay and when we when back inside all the dog owners stood up and started to clapped ! Then a reporter came over got my name and another took Finlay and my photo and asked me some questions . Finlay and I where on the front page of a newspaper and people
talking about how I almost shut down the town meeting. I called a center for deaf and HOH and was told not only was my rights violated but people that could not hear what was being said during the meeting rights where violated. Everyone has to be able to hear what is being said at the town meeting. The town selectmen knew the microphones where broken , and never bothered get them fixed before they had the meeting.
The dogs where allowed to still run on the beach during the winter.
 
yeah I was interviewed when I was in high school featuring how I overcame my hearing disability to make it in the mainstream schools. It was all right but whatever.
 
Lets see.....I was interviewed because of baseball once....then another time I was interviewed on local news for helping solve some stuff here, and another time because of some weird disease I have.
 
I got interviewed by the police after my mate broke into his neighbours car and blamed me.
I sang like a canary. Then beat my friend up later for framing me!
 
Unfortunately.... Too many times. :roll: Stupid things..... seeing a shooting once..... Um, LGBT rights support..... things like that. *shrug*
 
yes. I was interviewed by a reporter. deaf stand-up comedian.
