Hey, have you ever touched this new cool Manhattan bar ?
Their description of bar does seem
like a perfect bar for deafies and hard-of-hearings !!!!
It's called "Dano Bar" .. it seem like the only bar
in the world where you have to mingle with
people quietly by writing down using pencils,
etc etc...
Have you been there before ?
What do you think of that !!?! Perhaps one of you
who live near and check it out for us sometime...???

For a Saturday night in downtown Manhattan, it's eerily silent at the Dano bar. But the room hums, in a certain way.
Nine tables are jammed with people and cluttered with index cards, some crumpled, some neatly printed, some nearly illegible. Pencils scribble, cards dart from table to table, and hands flutter wildly, fingers jabbing into arms in hopes of getting the attention of the cute guy in the corner.
The Quiet Party is no oxymoron. It's a singles scene unlike any in New York, and perhaps the country, where the only forms of communication are written words, mimed gestures and, yes, the unspoken language of lust.
The event has struck a chord, says co-founder Paul Rebhan, albeit a muted one: About 150 people seeking silence have been turning up at each party since they started in November.

Awesome !! Even though I don't go to these bars
that much, this seem like an interesting bar if I happen
to be in the area then I might consider....

that much, this seem like an interesting bar if I happen
to be in the area then I might consider....
WHOA!!! I wanna go there!!! I'll try to see if I can get in because I'm gonna be 21 in 8 months! Arugh!
