BISHOPVILLE, SC (WIS) -
Is Lee County's world famous urban legend back to wreak havoc on Bishopville?
Yes, it's Lizard Man -- the anthropomorphic lizard...man with green skin, three toes, and a three clawed fingers. Two viewers sent us new photos and footage of the alleged South Carolina boogey man, and they might be the best photos yet.
Forgive us for going all Weekly World News on you for a moment, but here's what we have.

The first viewer, Jim Wilson, sent us several photos of the man-beast appearing on Highway 34.
"It was a tall, dark figure that had a tail and appeared to have scales. It was almost like an alligator with a short nose and long legs. I pulled over, walked down the the side of the bridge and took these photos," Wilson said.
Wilson said he saw the creature run across Scape Ore Bridge.
"My friend told me it's probably a pet monitor lizard someone, but my girlfriend thinks it's lizard man," Wilson said.
But the best photo of the...thing...comes from a second viewer who goes by the name of Sarah.
"Went to church with a friend in Bishopville and we saw lizard man come out of the woods and run along the tree line," Sarah wrote. "Took this picture zoomed in with my phone. My hand to God, I am not making this up. So excited!"
We're excited, too, Sarah, but we can't help but feel like there's something a bit...off...about these photos. Not accusing you of anything, of course, but this Lizard Man might be more man than beast.
