I just finished reading it last night...wow, it was very different from what I thought it to be.

Whoa! How long did it take you to read it? I'm currently reading, and am on page 150. I am eager to discuss the book, but I don't think it wise to divulge any spoilers in case there are those who aren't finished with the book. If you'd like, we can correspond via PMs.

I also finished the book recently. Just a lil' warning to these of you wanting to read the book...

It's quite a dark and unsettling novel. I can't imagine the movie being rated less than a PG-13 rating. Maybe a R rating. I have to say that the books mature more from book to book, therefore... not all children will be prepared to face some of the contents in these books.

I have to say that it was better written than the last book though. Not that the book was bad, I really enjoyed it. But I felt that the writing skill could had been done with a firmer grip.

My mind is racing with so many thoughts from this new book, and it did confirm some of my beliefs regarding some characters and also disproved me on some too as well. Some of the details in this book will stick through your guts like a knife and twist it around.

Yet people who don't read Harry Potter novels today still think of them as children's books. They're deeply mistaken, this one isn't exactly a book that a 8 year old child should be reading. Neither was the last book, and the book before that.

Beware, read at your own risk.

Thank you, Banjo. I'm into the book now having just finished reading page 183, and I must say, I am getting a bad feeling already. Of course, I peeked at some parts, so I already know certain details. Reading around what I know does make it seem a bit foreboding. I have a distinct feeling that I'm gonna be somewhat disturbed as well when I finally finish reading.

I've read the first 8 chapters... dont want to spoil it as well, but whoa this is gonna get bad!!

Shezzbeav already finished it because the Australia release date was before the US's since we didnt get it until yesterday!!

Maybe you guys can make a second thread discussing the book?? Just put a warning in the title, "DONT READ IF YOU HAVENT FINISHED HARRY POTTER" or something like that........ I dont think I would be tempted to peek.

Or just talk about it on PM's.........

Teg.

hey i wanna know what name of dvd for part 4?

It won't be on DVD till 2006 because it will be hitting the theatres on the 18th of November this year. It will be called, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".

If I were you, I'll read the book before seeing the movie. The movie will only be 2.5 hours from what I know meaning they'll be butchering it up a lot.

Harry Potter

I love the book even though it did not pull me in like the others it did give a lot fo info. I still believe that there is going to be 2 more books or the seventh one is going to be a monster!

I just got the book today - my mother surprised me by purchasing a copy of it for me! Yippee! Am gonna be diving into it now...:D

I read it, and was completely shocked at what had happened throughout the book. Whoa. There were a lot of things I were NOT expecting to happen, so it was a big shocker for me.
