Group holds vigil for program for the deaf | margin, bottom, group - Top Stories - WWMT NEWSCHANNEL 3

A group called No Deaf Child Left Behind will hold a vigil Friday morning in East Lansing.

Michigan State University is considering dropping their ASL program.

Critics say it will hurt the 3,300 deaf and hard of hearing students in Michigan schools who rely on teachers who can sign.

Several groups will speak at Friday's MSU Board of Trustees meeting on this issue.
