Well, I called the lender to find out about my tax papers since I was supposedly required to pay back taxes ( since its not included in the escrow from what I was told ) well, I was refered to the legal department there and come to find out, they were required to pay all back taxes up till I closed on the house.... Yah me !!!!
So I emailed copies of the tax receipts and check to the legal department and I will be reimbursed the $528 I paid to the County Collectors Office...woot !!!! Well that will help me get the ball rolling on fixing the house, let alone we are doing taxes this weekend so I should have more to throw into the house at once,, Not gonna tell the other party since she will more than likely say Oh well you got 500 back so I can keep the extra... I just know how she is, so we are both paying taxes and filing so I deserve my share reguardless, so Im going to avoid the hassle with her and just keep it to myself, heck it was my money out of my pocket for taxes anyways.
