Grant for program addressing needs of Central Coast parents of deaf, hearing impaired | thecalifornian.com | The Salinas Californian

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Service Center Inc., the only non-profit agency dedicated to serving the approximately 41,824 deaf and hard of hearing residents of Monterey and San Benito Counties Has received a matching grant offered to them by the Harden Foundation for a new program for DHHSC's Central Coast Outreach Office located in Salinas.

The Literacy, Empowerment & Advocacy Program will address the communications needs of families with deaf and hard of hearing children.


In order for DHHSC to receive the $15,000.00 being offered by the Harden Foundation to enact the
L.E.A.P. program, it needs to assemble matching funds.
